Hasaacas pick final GPL promotion ticket

Hasaacas beat Gold Stars 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to qualify to the Ghana Premier League with one match to spare in the play-offs.

Frederick Quayson grabbed a brace and a strike from substitute Isaac Eshun wrapped up the points for the ‘giants of the west’.

Simba Adams got the consolation for the Bibiani-based side.

The Sekondi-based side will be making a return to the top-flight after three seasons in the second-tier.

Hasmal are now on top of the zone II promotional play-offs with six points and still qualify even if they lose their final match against Tarkwa United.

The giants of the west have a better head-to-head against closet challengers Gold Stars who are on three points.

Hasaacas will join Inter Allies and Bechem as the promoted sides from the Division One League Middle League.
