Levante to swoop for Owusu Abeyie

Ghana international winger Quincy Owusu Abeyie may be on his way to join Spanish side Levante as talks between his club Panathinaikos and The Frogs are at an advanced stage.

According to Voetball International, talks started this week and The Greens are set to let the one time wing prodigy join the Valencia side.

Abeyie, who was a Dutch star during the world Under-20 in 2005, has been very efficient for the Shamrocks, but various degrees of injuries have restricted his playing time.

The club-trotting player, who has featured for Arsenal, Birmingham, Cardiff City, Portsmouth and Al Sadd, has also seen his signature at Malaga and Celta Vigo all on loan.
