Yahaya scores to end goal drought

Yahaya Mohammed scored his second goal in the second round of the Glo Premier League on Thursday to move his tally to eleven in the campaign.

The Amidaus attacker was on target for his side in their 2-1 loss to Aduana Stars at the Tema Stadium.

Yahaya had moved his goal tally to 10 after match-day-16 but endured a goal drought, spanning eight matches.

His failure to get the goals coincided with great form in front of goal by Hearts of Oak's Mahatma Otoo and Yakubu Mohammed of AshantiGold to overtake him on the scorers chart.
