Asamoah inspires teammates ahead of Bayern clash

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah believes Juventus can still progress in the Champion League at the expense of Bayern Munich.

The Italian champions must overturn a 2-0 deficit in the second leg clash on Wednesday night in order to make the last four of the prestigious competition.

But the confident Ghana international has urged his teammates to believe they can oust the new German champions on Wednesday.

“Looking forward to the game tomorrow (Wednesday). We must not Hope! We must Believe,” Asamoah Tweeted on Tuesday night.

The 24-year-old is likely to start the game at the Juventus Stadium after watching the whole first leg match from the substitutes bench.

Asamoah becomes the second Ghanaian to have played in the Champions League with the Bianconeri.

Ex Ghana captain Stephen Appiah did same during his time with Juventus between 2003-2005.
