King Faisal appoints Sabuto as acting head coach

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that Premier League outfit King Faisal has appointed Prince ‘Sabuto’ Acheampong as the club’s acting head coach.

According to our sources, club owner Alhaji Grunsah called a meeting between the club’s management and the technical staff where he announced the appointment.

Footy-ghana.com understands that the appointment was occasioned by the fact that head coach Mallam Yahaya had asked for some time off to transact some business in Germany and so would be away for a minimum of two weeks.

Sabuto will be assisted by Ofori Owusu for the next few games as King Faisal, which has won its last three games, looks to consolidate its position in the Glo Premier League.

Sabuto was Yahaya’s assistant before this appointment.

The T.I Ahmaddiya Senior High School Sports master was the assistant coach when Asante Kotoko reached the MTN FA Cup final in 2011 and he also qualified Norchip for the National Middle League back in 2008.
