Kwarasey extends contract at Stromsgodset

Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has signed a one-year contract extension at Stromsgodset.

The 25-year-old signed the deal on Friday that will keep him with the Norwegian side until 2014.

”It is important to seal the deal with Kwarasey as it gives us stability,” the club’s Sports Director Jostein Flo said.

The Ghana international has made an impressive 95 first team appearances since joining the club in 2007.

He is expected to again play a key role in the side’s bid to win the Norwegian top flight in the coming season.

Kwarasey was an unused substitute at last month’s Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where the Black Stars finished fourth.
