Kotoko down Tema Youth in Tema

Asante Kotoko gave their title defence a big boost after winning 2-1 against Tema Youth at the Tema Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors after a slow start have now moved to fourth on the table and are now a point behind new leaders, Aduana Stars.

Rashid Sumaila's goal in the 83rd minute secured victory for Kotoko after Tema Youth's Francis Narh had cancelled out Ben Acheampong's first half opener.

Kotoko will turn their attentions on their next game against New Edubiase on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
