Marvelous Mahatma scores league's first hat-trick

Hearts of Oak attacker Mahatma Otoo fired in the 2012-13 Glo Premier League's first hat-trick to help the Phobians win the seven-goal thriller 5-2 over New Edubiase.

Otoo after scoring his side's second following Osei Bonsu's opener from the penalty spot struck two more after recess before Nuru Suley made it five.

Edubiase, who were condemned to their second consecutive defeat got both goals in the second half through Basit Adam and Bernard Ofori.

The win lifts the Phobians to second on the standing ahead of the next clash away to Ebusua Dwarfs.
