Lions hope to roar as RTU comes visiting

Coming from an opening day defeat in the Glo Premier League, Heart of Lions return to their favourite Kpando base looking for a win on match-day-2.

Lions, after losing 2-0 to Berekum Chelsea last Sunday will this time play Real Tamale United in the only fixture confirmed for Saturday.

Both sides are looking for their first wins in the competition but Lions, bottom after the first round matches are determined to pick all three points.

However, Castro Boateng's team will find RTU hard to beat after the Tamale-based team warmed themselves into the league on their return to the top-flight with a hard fought home draw against AshantiGold.

Down by 2-1 last weekend, RTU averted defeat when they scored a late equaliser on the stroke of full time to earn a 2-2 draw.

The stakes will be high but Lions will be counting on home comforts to help them lift themselves off the foot of the table.
