Appiah to name 20-man squad for Malawi

Footy-Ghana.com can reveal that Black Stars Head Coach Kwasi Appiah will name a 20-man squad by close of next week ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations second leg qualifier against the Flames of Malawi next month.

Sources say, the squad will not be entirely different from the one that played against the Flames in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium early this month.

The Black Stars who are hoping to qualify to the 29th Edition of the Africa Cup of Nations face an uphill task in Lilongwe after a close match in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Flames will have to beat Ghana by three unanswered goals to book a place in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
