Dauda starts for Ghana against Liberia

Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda makes his senior debut for the Black Stars as he starts for Ghana in Tuesday's friendly against Liberia.

Coach Kwesi Appiah has also named winger Solomon Asante in his starting team for the game in Monrovia.

Andre Ayew and younger brother, Jordan, who featured in the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi last Saturday start from the bench.

The Black Stars play the Lone Star to mark Liberia's independence anniversary.

The match will kick off at 1600 GMT.

Starting line-up: Fatau Dauda, Samuel Inkoom, Razak Nuhu, John Boye, Jerry Akaminko, Anthony Annan, Solomon Asante, Derek Boateng, Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu.

Subs: Ernest Sowah, Rashid Sumaila, Isaac Coffie, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Abdul Majeed Waris, Richmond Boakye Yiadom.
