Zamalek will fall – Berekum Chelsea

The Accra Representative of Berekum Chelsea campaigners in the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions League, Oduro Sarfo, has predicted that his team will grab the three maximum points at stake when they engage Zamalek FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday in the opening match of the competition.

Sarfo told GNA Sports in Accra on Thursday that Chelsea have over the past weeks been in camp preparing for the crucial opener and they are well conditioned to record an impressive win over the North Africans.

According to Sarfo, his side will not record less than three goals over the Egyptians, because they are in the best of shapes to give them a good game.

“We know they are a very strong side with a rich history on the continent, but we have a determined squad that has scaled over several challenges to reach this stage.

“Our victory over Asante Kotoko last Sunday has also boosted our confidence and placed us in a better psychological frame of mind to win the day.” Sarfo stated.

Asked whether a change in venue from Berekum to Accra will not affect their fortunes, Sarfo noted that their home venue has never been a factor in their winning of games.

“We have always won our matches at Berekum fair and square without any form of intimidation on our opponents, so moving to Accra will not have any negative impact on us.

“It will give us an advantage, we shall have a better playing field and our boys play well on good pitches and this will work for us”. He stated.**
