Edubiase share points with Arsenals at Bekwai

Bekerum Arsenals shared the points 1-1 with New Edubiase in their 28th week Premier League game played at the Gyamfi Park, Bekwai on Sunday.

Both goals came in the first half, with Arsenals scoring first in the 27th minute through Joseph Marcel, whose free kick at the edge of the vital area beat keeper Salia Iddrisu.

Edubiase fought hard in search of the equalizer with Emmanuel Baffour, Aseidu Atoborah and Owusu Bempah mounting pressure on their opponents, but several of the chances missed target with the clearest coming in the 25th and 40 minutes.

Atoborah, however managed to level up at the stroke of the first half, when he connected home Ebenezer Ofori’s cross.

The two sides struggled to outdo each other in the second half but were unable to convert chances that came their way.**
