BA Stars CEO Praises Referee Despite Loss.

Chief Executive Officer of second tier side BA Stars Charles Kwadwo Ntim has heaped praise on referee Alex Sowah for exhibiting a high sense of professionalism during his side's encounter with Berekum based Berlin FC.

Mr. Ntim aka 'Micky Charles' claims with the kind of fairness shown by Alex during the fixture, he would recommend that his status be upgraded to enable him officiate in the top flight.

"I think he is the best referee I have met in the lower divisions and after him taking charge of several of our matches, I think I cannot hide but to praise him for his efforts even though we lost" He told Sunyani based Storm FM.

"It is very rare to see a club official commending a referee after a loss in that respect but I believe he is the kind of an official who needs to be encouraged to reach a higher height with such and immense professionalism he's shown at this level".

Micky insisted he would recommend to the Ghana Football Association and the Referees Association of Ghana to promote Alex Sowah so he can officiate in the Ghana Premier League.

"He (Sowah) deserves to be up there with the big referees in the premier league with this kind of performance".

BA Stars lost 0-1 to Berlin FC in the third week fixture of the Division One league at the Berekum Golden City park on Wednesday.
