Hearts Of Oak Secure Uriah Asante's Cards

Accra Hearts of Oak have successfully concluded negotiations with Pure Joy FC over star midfielder Uriah Asante and have agreed to sign the player for two seasons.
The deal is believed to be worth GH¢55,000 and the player will soon join team mates at the Prampram camping base where the team is preparing for the 2011/12 glo Premier League season set to start on October 9.
Asante was recalled to his parent club Pure Joy FC following the expiration of his second loan spell at Hearts of Oak last season and recently had trials with South Africa Premier division club Amazulu but a determined Phobia management who regard the young midfielder as one of their influential players last season has moved to permanently secure his services.
Footyghana.com understands that Amazulu’s offer fell short of Pure Joy’s valuation of the Ghana U-23 midfielder and hence opted to have a deal with the former African champions.
