Brazil arrive in London for match against Ghana

The Brazilian national team have arrived in London ahead of the most anticipated friendly with Ghana on 5th September, 2011 at Craven cottage. The five time world champions will play the Ghana Blackstars in what is termed as‘an intensed friendly’ on Monday for the first time at Fulham. The game which has already sold over 10, 000 tickets was announced shortly after the Brazil-Egypt friendly scheduled to be played in Cairo on September 6th, was canceled due to security concerns. Ghana will be arriving in London straight after their home fixture with Swaziland on Friday. Even though there are concerns that the Blackstars might be tired therefore prone to lose the game, the Blackstars Coach, Goran Stevanovic says his focus is on the Swaziland and not Brazil.

"I don’t want to talk about Brazil because for me the focus is on the Swaziland game, we must win this game and leave a good impression in front of our home fans while also getting the needed three points.” “I promise we’ll give off our best and we want all Ghanaians to join in because these people (players) deserve it," he added.

The likes of Ronaldhino and Marcelo have been recalled to the Brazil team to face Ghana’s best Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew. The match which is organised by Kentaro group, Europe’s leading sports rights agency will definately be another exciting one for Ghanaian fans since the friendly with England in March.
