Agyemang Badu eager for qualification slot

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu says anything apart from qualification to the All Africa Games would count for nothing as Ghana prepare for the decisive return game against Nigeria.

Ghana are chasing the game as they trail Nigeria 1-3 from the first leg.

The Black Meteors need to score two unanswered goals against their fierce rivals on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium to secure the sole Zone III ticket to the Games.

Badu, one of the important members of coach Kwesi Appiah's squad is keen on qualification to make up for past setbacks, following the Olympic team's failure to reach the 2012 London Olympic Games.

"It will be a big failure if we don't qualify because we don't have any option. This is the last qualifier for us, this is like a Champions League final for us because we did not qualify for the Olympic games and the All Africa Games is all we have.

"We will do our best. We will force them to play nonsense and if we have a good day, that is it," Badu said.
