Albert Mensah fights for IBF International title July 15

*Ghana’s WBA Pan African titlist Albert Mensah will face Canadian Andres “Gorgeous” Gorges for the vacant IBF International Light Welterweight belt in the headliner of **Chicago** **Fight Night II** next week Friday **July 15**, at the Club **7600 S. Cicero Ave. Burbank IL 60459, Burbank, Illinois, United States.*

Adrian Granados, Lanardo Tyner, Albert Mensah, Antonio Canas, Carl Davis, Eric Estrada, Boban Simic, Foster Nkodo, Sergio Montes De Oca, Fernando Hernandez are some of the boxers on show as Chicago's professional boxing scene once again stage a display on July 15 under the distinguished patronage of Chicago Fight Club Promotions.

Three belts will be on the line of CHICAGO FIGHT NIGHT II headlined by Ghana's hardest hitting boxer Albert Mensah (27-1-3) 10 KO's taking on Iraq born Canadian Andres Gorges (11-1,0 KOs). Mensah who also holds the lightly regarded World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) Light Welterweight title, is looking for victory over Gorges to put up his case for a world title shot.

Joseph Awinongya, the trainer of the Ghanaian has exclusively told * SportsInGhana.com* that the boxer is up and ready to beat Gorges on July 15.

“There is no doubt about it, Albert Mensah (currently the WBA Pan African Light Welterweight Champion and the ABU Welterweight Champion) is one of the best boxers coming out of Ghana along with Osumanu Adama (the IBO Middleweight Champion) who I also train. Albert is going to be a world champion in the near future. He is not going to be a world champion that fades away, he will stay there for a long time,” Coach Awinongya said.
