To All Media Houses:

All the Sports Journalists in the Tarkwa- Nsuaem Municipality have unanimously
resolved not to talk about any issue concerning Tarkwa United Football Club with
immediate effect.

The reason being that, an unlawful incident happened during the last match in the
2010/2011 Polytank Division One Zone Two B between TARKWA UNITED and SECONDI XI WISE
last Sunday and Monday the 26th and 27th of June 2011 respectively at the New Atuabo
Park.

All the sports journalists were barred from running commentaries and any other
reports as the profession demands.. In view of that we have agreed not to talk or
broadcast any issues involving Tarkwa United again until further notice.
As a result of this behavior, we the local based sports journalist would wish to
appeal and apologize to our other colleagues outsiders who also suffered from this
irresponsible behavior from the officials and the fans of the club. This stance
taken by us is to help bring sanity at our stadia and parks.
