Ghanaians win Turkish leage

Two Ghanaian amputee footballers, Richard Opentil and Francis Antwi-Darkwah, have won the Turkish amputee league with their club Yenimahalle.
The pair joined the team in February this year in what has become the first-ever transfer in amputee football in the world.
In the last match to end the most competitive amputee league in the world, Yenimahalle beat their counterparts 5-0 to end one of their most successful league seasons in their history.
With the league cup conquered, Richard Opentil and Francis Antwi-Darkwah stand the chance of picking a world clubs cup, as they prepare to meet the best clubs in the world. The team would first play a special match to crown the Super Champions of Turkish Amputee Football before the world clubs cup.
On the other, the third Ghanaian amputee professional footballer, Attah Yeboah’s team, Konya FC, placed a respectable sixth on the league table.
