Vipers spank Eleven Wise in League match

Cape Coast, April 4, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers Fc played a yeoman's game to spank Sekondi Eleven Wise FC 3-1 in their zone 2/3 Divis= ion One League match played at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast on Saturday. In a match characterized with series of fights culminating in the destruction of stadium chairs by supporters of the two clubs, it was Vipers who scored the opener in the 19th minute through Faisal Mustapha. Mustapha after he received a midfield pass beat his marker on the run before planting the ball into the net.

Wise hit back and got the equalizer in the 34th minute through Suleman= a Ibrahim, but Vipers who were determined to carry the day hit back and increased their goal tally to two through Mustapha again before the end of the first half.

When the game resumed after the recess, Wise threw everything into attack in search of another goal but their hopes of drawing level with Vipers were shattered when Eric Bosompem scored in the 59th minute to give Vipers a comfortable 3-1 victory. In other encounters Sekondi Hassacas trounced Tarkwa Real United 5-2, Sekondi Metro Stars drew 1-1 with Sekondi Dolphins F/C while Windy Professionals drew 2-2 with Wassaman F/C.
