PKO Group of Companies and Gloves for Africa are taking steps to establish a strategic partnership aimed at expanding opportunities in sports, education and youth empowerment across Africa, following high level talks in Lagos, Nigeria.
PKO Group Founder and Chairman Dr Edward Osei met with Gloves for Africa Founder Chuks Uwaechia and Creative Director and African Coordinator Femilee Olawuyi to advance discussions that began almost a month ago.
PKO Director of Boxing Carl Lawrence Lokko and members of the management team also contributed to shaping the proposed collaboration.

The partnership will focus on sports development, education, youth empowerment, philanthropy and events, with plans to attract more organisations and partners.
Gloves for Africa uses boxing to empower young people through grassroots development, access to boxing equipment and opportunities for emerging talent.
PKO Group operates across several sectors, including boxing promotions and management, sports, real estate, renewable energy, biotechnology, education and creative production.
The collaboration seeks to strengthen ties between Ghana and Nigeria while creating opportunities for young people and supporting sports and community development across Africa.
