Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo is reportedly fit and in contention to feature against Liverpool at Anfield when the Premier League leaders return to action on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
The Ghana international missed the Black Stars’ recent 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign after withdrawing from the squad with a swollen leg.
Semenyo had initially been included in Carlos Queiroz’s squad for the qualifiers against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia but was forced to pull out to focus on his recovery.
Reports revealed that Semenyo had spoken with Queiroz about his condition, with the forward explaining that his leg was swollen and needed treatment.
However, reports now indicate that the 26-year-old is expected to be available for City’s trip to Anfield, with his fitness set to be assessed by the club ahead of the highly anticipated clash.
Semenyo has made an impressive start to life at City this season, scoring twice and providing three assists in his opening five Premier League appearances. He was also instrumental in City’s 5-3 victory over Sunderland before the international break, scoring twice.
