Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has stressed the need for stability in the national team ahead of Ghana's clash with Gambia.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Queiroz said constantly changing several players makes it difficult to build a winning team.
"There is no champion that can change the team seven, eight, nine players every time you have a camp. We have to have the core of the team prepared and ready," he said.
Queiroz also spoke about the number of players unavailable due to injuries but insisted the team would not use that as an excuse.

"We don't want to spend one second with excuses or explanations to the fans. Fans want to know if we are prepared to play and deliver tomorrow," he stated.
He added that Ghana must focus on immediate results while also investing in the future through youth development, coaching education and better football pitches.
"We have to win tomorrow, but with eyes on the future," Queiroz said.
He urged supporters to rally behind the available players ahead of the Gambia encounter.
"We have 22 players ready for tomorrow. Those are the most important players of the Black Stars. Come here to support them," he added.
“Come here to support them. And we say thank you to those who stay home, crying for the players who are not here. Stay there; we don't mind.”
