Aduana FC head coach Samuel Boadu has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following his side’s 2-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
Boadu is alleged to have made improper and provocative gestures towards sections of the Asante Kotoko supporters during the encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The GFA has charged the coach under Article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025, and has given him until Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to respond to the allegations.
The disciplinary proceedings come after an eventful afternoon in Kumasi, where Aduana secured their first league victory over Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium since 2021.

Stephen Amankona gave the visitors an early lead after capitalising on an error by Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim, before Seidu Saana sealed the win deep into stoppage time with a counter-attacking finish.
Aduana had to play with 10 men for more than 50 minutes after Raymond Agyemang was sent off for a second bookable offence, but Boadu’s side held firm to claim all three points.
The result moved Aduana to seven points from their opening four matches of the 2026/27 campaign, while Kotoko suffered their first defeat of the season.
Boadu now has until the GFA’s September 30 deadline to present his defence. The charge remains an allegation pending his response and the outcome of the disciplinary process.
