Spanish giants Real Madrid are working on a deal to sign Ghanaian youngster Latif Issman, with negotiations ongoing with CD Logroñés to bolster their squad.

According to Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito, Los Blancos have begun discussions with the club for a potential transfer, with Issman expected to join their Castilla (Team B) side.

Reports indicate that Issman’s current contract includes a €500,000 release clause, but Real Madrid are negotiating for a lower fee before finalizing the deal.

The club is said to have no interest in triggering the clause, instead weighing their finances and targeting a reduced amount in talks.

The Ghanaian youngster has already made 21 appearances for Logroñés’ first team this season, an impressive achievement at his age, which has reportedly caught the attention of Real Madrid’s recruitment department.

The club has been particularly active in strengthening its youth structure and Castilla squad, continuing its strategy of identifying promising young players who could develop into first-team options to support the senior side.

The 19-year-old would become the second Ghanaian signed by Real Madrid after the club recently completed a deal for Oscar Naasei, who has already been unveiled and made his debut with Castilla.

The expected addition of Issman will be a major boost for Ghanaian football, as both players could become pillars of the Black Stars in the future if they continue performing at the highest level.
