Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez finally made it official after nearly a decade together, but their wedding did not capture the ‘extravaganza’ many might have expected from one of football’s biggest stars.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal, on August 11, with their five children present.
They later shared glimpses of the special day, giving fans a rare look inside their private celebration.
Ronaldo, 41, and Georgina, 32, chose a remarkably simple setting for the ceremony. Ronaldo wore a light beige suit, while Georgina opted for an elegant white silk outfit rather than a traditional wedding dress.

The date carried special meaning for the couple. It marked 10 years since they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina was working. Their relationship began in 2016 and eventually grew into a family with five children.
Ronaldo confirmed the marriage publicly with a photograph of their hands showing their wedding rings.
Despite the intimate ceremony, the couple have indicated that a much bigger celebration could still come later.
