Black Stars winger Antoine Semenyo proved his quality once again as Manchester City thrashed K League All-Stars 3-1 in a pre-season friendly on August 5, 2026.
The winger provided an assist for Tijjani Reijnders’ goal with a clever backheel pass that pierced through the opponent’s defense to create the chance.
He also came close to scoring when his long-range strike was punched out by the goalkeeper, allowing teammate Divin Mubama to pounce and convert. Rayan Aït-Nouri scored the additional goal to seal City’s 3-1 victory.

Semenyo’s explosiveness and attacking threat were evident throughout the game, leading to several chances created, similar to his performance against Inter Milan in the first friendly, where he also registered an assist.
This marks a strong start for Semenyo under new manager Enzo Maresca, who is assessing the squad for lineup selections ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
The Black Stars winger’s performances will be integral to City’s ambitions of winning trophies, while also helping him establish himself among the world’s best and compete for individual honors to elevate his career further.
