Nebojsa Kapor is the new head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak have officially appointed Serbian coach Nebojsa Kapor as their new head coach on a two-year deal.

According to a statement sighted by GhanaWeb, Accra Hearts of Oak assured their supporters that the appointment of the Serbian coach will usher in "a new era" for the Phobians.

Nebojsa Kapor previously managed Tema Youth, Bechem United and Medeama SC, with the Phobians backing his Ghana Premier League experience and tactical philosophy to lead the club's rebuild.

"The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC announces the appointment of Mr. Nebojsa Kapor as Head Coach, following an extensive recruitment process to restore the Club to domestic and continental prominence. The contract is for a 2-year period.

A UEFA-licensed coach, Mr. Kapor brings valuable Ghana Premier League experience, having managed Tema Youth FC, Bechem United FC and Medeama SC. His tactical expertise, deep understanding of Ghanaian football, and progressive coaching philosophy distinguished him throughout the process. Known for building competitive, attacking teams grounded in discipline and youth development, his approach aligns closely with the Board's long-term vision for the Club.

This appointment is the first of several technical appointments to be made in the coming weeks as the Club prepares for the next season.
