Dan Gaspar has demanded higher standards from Ghana’s goalkeepers as preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup intensify in the United States.

In a video released by the Ghana Football Association, the Black Stars' goalkeeping department was put through an intense training session on Day 3 of camp, with focus on reflex work, shot-stopping, positioning, and reaction drills.

The session featured the team’s goalkeepers, including Hearts of Oak shot-stopper Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Anan and standby keeper Solomon Agbasi, all working under close supervision as Gaspar pushed them through a demanding routine.

From quick-fire saves to close-range reaction drills, the training was designed to sharpen concentration and improve decision-making under pressure, key requirements ahead of Ghana’s World Cup campaign.

Throughout the session, Gaspar was heard constantly urging the players on, refusing to let standards drop even in the heat of repetition.

“It has to be better!” he was heard shouting, as he challenged the goalkeepers to improve their timing and execution.

With competition for the number one spot still open, every training session is becoming an opportunity for the goalkeepers to impress and stake their claim for a place in the final squad.
