Black Stars head coach, Carlos Queiroz has officially joined the team’s training camp in Wales as preparations intensify for their final pre-World Cup friendly against Wales on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
A video released by the Ghana Football Association showed the Portuguese tactician arriving at Dragon Park, where the squad is currently based as they step up preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Queiroz’s arrival adds further structure to a camp that has already been running with a strong technical presence, with several members of the coaching team actively overseeing training sessions.
Also spotted in the video were second assistant coach Desmond Offei, former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda, ex-international John Paintsil, and experienced coach Roger De Sa, all taking part in preparations ahead of the Wales clash.

The squad has been working through tactical drills and fitness sessions as Ghana edges closer to finalising its World Cup squad, with the Wales fixture expected to be a key assessment match.
The friendly in Cardiff will serve as one of Ghana’s final competitive tests before the 2026 World Cup, with the team expected to play one more international match in the United States before the tournament kicks off.
