Ghanaian award-winning musician, Kofi Kinaata has stirred conversations on social media after reacting to the Black Stars’ provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The celebrated Fante rapper took to X to express his frustrations while suggesting that the list released may not be the final one.

“I’m not sure this is the final list tho, 90% of them will make it ,waiting for the final list with Paintsil, Afena Gyan & Kohn. Medaase!” Kofi Kinaata posted.

Kinaata’s mention of John Paintsil, Felix Afena-Gyan, and Derrick Kohn immediately sparked reactions online, with many fans interpreting it as support for possible late inclusions or final adjustments to the team.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars technical team is expected to finalize preparations in the coming days as they continue to assess both local and foreign-based players ahead of their next fixture.
