Nicholas Opoku has attracted interest from several European clubs following an impressive season with Turkish side Kasimpasa in the 2025/26 campaign.
The Ghana defender played a key role in helping Kasimpasa avoid relegation from the Turkish Super Lig, producing a solid performance in their final game of the season against champions Galatasaray.
Opoku helped his side secure a narrow 1-0 victory and an important clean sheet against the league winners with a composed display in defence.
The 28-year-old won half of the duels he contested during the match and maintained a perfect tackle success rate. He also registered three clearances, two recoveries and one blocked shot.
The former Berekum Chelsea defender has been one of Kasimpasa’s most consistent performers throughout the season.
In 29 league appearances, Opoku played 2,341 minutes and helped the club keep seven clean sheets while conceding an average of 1.19 goals per game.
He also recorded 172 clearances, 30 tackles, 23 interceptions and 18 blocked shots during the campaign.
His performances have reportedly attracted attention from clubs in England, France and Italy ahead of the summer transfer window.
