22 players have arrived in the Black Stars camp in Puebla ahead of the pre-FIFA World Cup friendly game against the Mexican national team on Friday, May 22, 2026.

According to Black Stars Media Officer Henry Asante Twum, the players have been camping since Sunday, with Terry Yegbe, Nathaniel Adjei and Jan Kwasi Gyamerah joining the rest of the squad on Tuesday May 19, 2026.

Ghana have lined up the fixture as part of their build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged in Mexico, Canada, and the United States in June.

The friendly also offers an opportunity to assess new talents pushing for places in both the Black Stars and the Black Meteors.
