After the race, Saminu, in high spirits, was seen performing DopeNation’s renowned kakalika dance, moving his hands forward and backward.

Soon after, his teammates noticed the dance moves and joined him, performing together as fans cheered loudly at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The celebration was both a gesture of joy at their qualification and a nod to the viral dance challenge that has gained global attention.

The kakalika dance has gone viral worldwide, with personalities ranging from footballers to athletes, entertainers, and others performing it to celebrate victories.

Saminu, Joseph Paul Amoah, and their teammates are now poised to win a medal following their qualification, especially after their disappointing performances in the 100m race where they missed out on a podium finish.
