The Kenyan athlete explained that the competition was far from over, with the high jump and 400m events still to come later in the day.

“We’re still coming for the remaining two events, that is high jump and 400,” he added.

Too, however, admitted that adapting to Ghana’s weather has been one of the biggest challenges for the athletes.

“Ghana is good. It’s only that it’s very hot,” he said . “We are trying to adapt to the environment and the weather, but everything is good.”

Despite the conditions, the Kenyan athlete remains hopeful of a strong finish and believes his team can return home with medals.

“We came here to defend the title,” Too stated. “I hope we are going to go home with a title.”

He also expressed gratitude to supporters back home in Kenya for their encouragement throughout the competition.

“I can only say thank you for the support. Continue praying for us and giving us the support that is needed. Here we are going to do our best to push hard,” he said.
