Goalkeepers’ trainer for the Black Stars, Daniel Gaspar, made a notable appearance at the training grounds of Accra Hearts of Oak, where he commended both players and technical staff for their commitment and structure.
Gaspar, visibly impressed by the session, highlighted the importance of passion in coaching, singling out the team’s coach for his dedication to teaching, discipline, and organization.
“It’s a pleasure and an honor to be here. To be a good teacher, you have to be passionate, and there’s no question your coach is very passionate in his ability to teach, to give you discipline and structure. So let’s give it up for the coach as well,” he said.
Focusing on his area of expertise, Gaspar reserved special praise for the goalkeepers and their trainer, applauding the quality and progression of their work during the session.
“My specialty is goalkeeping, and I want to congratulate Coach Azaya for his session the progression, the willingness, the capacity, the capabilities of the goalkeepers. I love the attitude,” he noted.
He also emphasized the role of mindset in performance, encouraging players to maintain a positive approach.
“Good attitude, good things happen. Bad attitude, not so good things. I’m very impressed with his work,” Gaspar added.
The Black Stars goalkeeping coach expressed interest in returning to observe more sessions in the coming days, while rallying the team ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
“I hope to come and observe in a few more days and I wish you luck. Wednesday, get three points, and then Sunday, do it again get three points,” he added.
