Hohoe United FC has been charged by the Ghana Football Association for allegedly breaching key provisions of the Ghana Premier League Regulations.

According to the GFA, the club is accused of violating Articles 13(1) and 34(6)(d) of the 2025 regulations after reportedly withdrawing from the ongoing Ghana Premier League without just cause.

The Association further alleged that the club’s actions have brought the game into disrepute, raising concerns over professionalism and adherence to league rules.

In a statement, the GFA confirmed that Hohoe United has been given until Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to respond to the charges.

“It is further alleged that the conduct of the Club brings the name of the game into disrepute,” the release stated.

The case adds to growing disciplinary concerns within the domestic league, as authorities seek to maintain order and uphold the integrity of Ghanaian football.

Should the club be found guilty, it could face sanctions in line with the league’s regulations.
