Nigerian boxer, Obaro Eradaye has threatened to cause serious damage to his Ghanaian opponent, Ahmed Abdulai, ahead of their WBA Africa Cruiserweight fight at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The Legacy Rise Sport fight card, featuring both local and international boxers, will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, with competitors battling for continental titles.

Eradaye enters the fight with a record of five bouts: two wins, two losses, and one technical knockout.

Speaking to GhanaWeb Sports on April 7, 2026, Eradaye claimed that Ahmed appeared timid and vowed to exploit that weakness to secure victory.

He warned he would punish his opponent until blood is drawn and is training hard in pursuit of a knockout.

“First of all, I saw fear in his eyes; he [Ahemed] was kind of scared. I smell fear, so I am going to feed on it. I know him well. That is my fighting style; I have knocked out many opponents in Nigeria. Even my last fight in Russia was very bloody. For me, that is my style of fighting, making blood everywhere,” he said.

Ahmed Abdulai and Obaro Eradaye will battle for the continental cruiserweight title as they aim to etch their names into the history books.

Apart from this, other international athletes like Guinean Ibrahima Diallo Jr., who has a record of 16 fights without a loss, Mexican Jursly The Gorilla Vargas, and Ivanusah Morreira are all confident of comfortably beating their Ghanaian opponents to win their titles.
