Players of the DR Congo national football team have made a heartfelt appeal to the country’s leadership ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, requesting special recognition for one of their own, Lumumba.

Speaking through their captain, Chancel Mbemba, the team formally called on the President of Democratic Republic of the Congo to ensure Lumumba is present at the tournament, even if it means including him in the official delegation and providing full logistical support for his journey.

The request, described as a powerful show of unity and solidarity, highlights the strong bond within the team and their desire to carry every member of their football family along to the global stage.

The presence of Michel Kuka Muladinga AKA Lumumba Vea according to Chancel Mbemba is needed to lift the morale of the DRC players.
