President of the Ghana Para Swimming Association, Farida Iddriss, has described Promise Aheto’s qualification for the 2026 Commonwealth Games as a defining moment in Ghana’s sporting history.

In an official statement, she commended the collective efforts of key stakeholders, including Samson Deen, the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Ghana board, the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), and the Glasgow 2026 team for their unwavering support in helping the athlete reach the global stage.
