A prophecy by the founder and leader of Reign House Chapel, Prophet Eric Boahen Uche, has stirred public conversation following the Black Stars’ 2–1 defeat to Germany in an international friendly match.

Speaking to his congregation on the night of March 29, 2026 just a day before the game, the man of God claimed to have foreseen the outcome. According to him, he had a vision in which Ghana lost to Germany.

“Today in my vision, I saw Ghana losing the match against Germany tomorrow. Ghana is playing with Germany, right? I saw our country lose; this is just by the way,” he told his congregants.

His remarks gained traction after the Black Stars succumbed to a 2–1 loss to Germany on March 30, 2026, a result that has intensified scrutiny over the team’s recent performances.

The defeat marks Ghana’s second consecutive loss, following a heavy 5–1 defeat to Austria on March 27, extending the team’s winless run and raising concerns among fans and football analysts alike.

GFA sacks Otto Addo

In a swift response to the team’s declining form, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the dismissal of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.

The decision was communicated in a statement issued on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

“The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has parted ways with the head coach of the senior men’s national team (Black Stars), Otto Addo, effective immediately,” the statement read.

The Association expressed appreciation for Addo’s service, stating, “The Association wishes to thank Otto Addo sincerely for his contribution to the team and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavours.”

The GFA also indicated that it will announce a new technical direction for the Black Stars in due course.
