Some social media users noted that the current state of the Ghanaian economy, under the management of President John Dramani Mahama, has encouraged citizens to purchase the jersey as part of the celebration.

Others pointed out that the recent performances of the Black Stars, particularly their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, have excited fans and inspired them to wear the jersey during Independence Day festivities.

There were also comments praising the beauty of the jersey, with many fans expressing the belief that the Black Stars perform better when wearing it. This sentiment has encouraged supporters to patronize it as a symbol of hope ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

The jersey is expected to dominate attire across the country during the Independence Day celebration, scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026.
