Ghana is set to host the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier B tournament from March 24 to March 29, 2026.
The tournament will feature six teams, including Ghana, Malawi, St Helena, Eswatini, Seychelles, and Tanzania competing for the ultimate prize.
In a statement issued by the Ghana Cricket Association and signed by Emmanuel Asare, President of the federation, the tournament will be played in a round-robin format with each team playing the other once.

He explained that the top two teams will eventually qualify to play in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Regional Qualifier which is a crucial step towards securing a spot in the 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
All games according to the statement will be played at the Achimota Cricket Ovals A & B, inside Achimota School, Accra.
He added that the tournament promises to be an exciting event, showcasing the best of African cricket.
He called on all cricket enthusiasts to come and support their national team.
