Aggrey memorial College are champions

Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary School on Monday whipped Apam Secondary School 4-2 to lift the Central Region Milo Championship Trophy in the finals of the inter schools and colleges Milo tournament played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

After a gruelling 1-1 first half score, Apam Secondary School who were determined to cause sensation surprised Aggrey College, who are also the VALCO youth soccer champions, with the leader within five minutes of play through centre half, Thomas Mensah.

Aggrey realising that their prestige was at stake hit back gallantly and made the scores two all with Thomas Foyoo's 60th minute goal.

The Cape Coast boys from then on did not look back as they piled up pressure on their opponents and succeeded in rattling in two quick goals to make victory certain for over Apam.
