The Arabic website www.yallakora.com is reporting that Ghana's coach, Milovan Rajevac, has signed a one-year contract with Al Ahly Jeddah of Saudi Arabia, who sacked their Norwegian coach after just 4 games. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

Rajevac’s contract extension with the Black Stars still hangs in the balance, with parties yet to conclude negotiations for a firm deal.

The Serb told KickOffGhana.com he is yet to officially sign a new deal with the Ghana Football Association even though he is taking charge of Ghana’s Nations Cup qualifier against Swazilandon Sunday.

Rajevac’s deal with Ghana expired last month and while he insist he is very certain he will remain in charge, he says nothing is official yet.

“Officially I did not sign an extension yet. But we talked a lot, we have had a lot of discussions and we have almost reached a final settlement. But now the match (Swaziland-Ghana) is close and I want to sort it out afterwards. Everything will be okay though,” he said.

“Everything is going in the right direction and everything is going well but at this moment match is close and it is the most important thing for now. After the match I believe we will sort out everything in the right direction.”
Rajevac’s comments spikes earlier reports that he has signed on the dotted lines in a four year deal worth $66,000 a month.
