Muntari of no interest to Liverpool

Liverpool Football Club have no interest in taking Sulley Muntari this summer.

Internazionale coach Rafael Benitez is eager to raid his former club before the window shuts, for either, or indeed both, Javier Mascherano and/or Dirk Kuyt.

Argentine international Mascherano has made it perfectly clear he wants out of Anfield, and whilst Dutch ace Kuyt is making far less noise, he too is said to be interested in Inter.

Benitez is believed to be willing to include Ghanaian international Muntari, formerly of Portsmouth, in any deal, yet Roy Hodgson has no interest in the midfielder.

The Reds manager will only consider selling either player if his valuation is met, and neither figure would be compromised by the inclusion of the Nerazzurri number 11.
