Asamoah's future uncertain

Kwadwo Asamoah's agent has suggested the midfielder could still leave Udinese this summer.

The Ghana international's impressive performances at the 2010 World Cup led to rumours of interest in his services.

It had been anticipated that Asamoah would remain at Udinese for at least another season, but his representative has intimated otherwise.

Claudio Vagheggi has claimed Premier League side Arsenal are among several clubs monitoring the 21-year-old's situation.

He told itasportpress.it: "There are about two weeks to the end of the market, we must consider whether we receive any important proposals for the player and the club.

"There are several interested teams, in England there is Arsenal. In Italy, Fiorentina like him and there is also a big Serie A club who is interested in Kwadwo.

"Although for the moment there is nothing concrete, we must wait and the next few days will be decisive. Asamoah is happy but if the right offer comes in he will consider it."
