Tema Golf President's Putter Championship slated for March 13

Tema, March 5, GNA - This year's Tema Country Golf Club President's Putter Championship tees off at Tema on Saturday, March 13. Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, General Manager of the Club told GNA Sports at Tema on Friday that about 120 golfers throughout the country are expected to take part in the competition.

He said the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which would be played in accordance with the local rules of the Club, would be sponsored by Mr Kofi Yim, President of the Club.

Mr Adablanu said the competition which has very attractive prizes at stake has Handicap 18 and 24 respectively as the entry requirements. The Club's Captain, Kweku Okyere would lead his team which would include Paul Owusu-Baah, Felix Owusu-Adjapong, Alex Fiagomey, William Asiedu Yeboah, Nana Kojo Duku and Ebenezer Tetteh Mensah. The Achimota Golf team to be led by their Captain, Mike Aggrey would include Matthias Dorfe, Daniel List, Paul List, Charles Tabi, Mike Ezan, Wisdom Asempa, Mike Ben-George and Dan Dennis.

Florence Etwi-Barimah of the Tema Club would also battle team-mates Esther Antwi, Esi Cobbina, Grace Afriyie and Margaret Owusu-Baah for the Ladies top trophy. 05 March 10
