Kotoko chalk hard fought win over Wise

Accra, May 24, GNA - Visiting Kumasi Asante Kotoko brought back the smiles unto their fans when they chalked a hard won 2-1 victory over Sekondi Eleven Wise in their 20th Week Premier League match at the Essipong Sports stadium near Sekondi on Sunday. It was the homesters who opened the scores in the early parts of the game but Kotoko managed to repulse their move to draw even before substitute Kwabena Yaro ensured victory for the Porcupine Warriors with a non-drop shot in the dying embers of the game to bring relief to the teeming fans of Kotoko who lost the first leg encounter to Wise by a similar margin at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi.
